Adopt a Dummy
As part of our fundraising effort to build a new museum building, you can "adopt" one of the Vent Haven Museum residents! The adoption fee is $50 for one year and includes the following perks:
Recognition on the dummy's card acknowledging that you've adopted the dummy for a year (see photo as an example).
Acknowledgment and thanks on the Vent Haven Museum blog and Facebook page
The right to renew your adoption of the same dummy the following year.
As Vent Haven is a 501(c)3 organization, your contribution may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax attorney as individual situations vary.
Knowledge that you've helped your dummy (and all of the other dummies in the collection, too!) have a state of the art home in our new Vent Haven Museum building.
This head was created by K.S. Gode and was donated by Gode in November 2018 in celebration of Gode's 80th birthday. If you'd like to adopt him, click below!
The following dummies are currently available for online adoption:
Herman the Worm
This soft puppet was made by Mike Horner and donated by Smith Handerson. Its body is dryer duct. The glove attached gives the illusion of being held.
This beautiful Frank Marshall creation stands on a scooter that rolls. Lillie arrived at Vent Haven on December 3, 1948.
