The Vent Haven 2024 Dummy Run
This 5K fun run course is mostly flat and great for first time runners and walkers. The race is not timed. For 2024 the course has been revised. Same streets...new route.
The course will start and finish at Vent Haven Museum on West Maple Avenue behind the Mercedes Dealership in Ft. Mitchell.
Don't delay in registering. The registration price at Packet Pick-up and on Race Day goes up to $40.
For In-person participants, the $35 registration includes t-shirt, race bib, and a chance to check out the new exhibits of the new Vent Haven Museum building!
There will be a Virtual Race option as well. Support Vent Haven Museum from your corner of the world by signing up for a virtual run and completing the 5K at your own time and place. Vent Haven Museum will mail your t-shirt two weeks after the race. Cost is $40 to include shipping.
Age Group Prizes will be offered this year. $30 for first place Male/Female in the teen and adult age groups, $15 for second place, and $10 for third place. All finishers will receive either a medal or a VHM hat. The kids group winners will get medals.

*T-shirts are not guaranteed on Race Day for Walk-up Registration but will be mailed after the race if supplies run out.
Parking:
Available at Central Bank, Youthland Academy, and Ft. Mitchell Public House
NO on-street parking on West Maple Avenue, Ft. Mitchell Avenue, West Orchard, Ridge Road, or Krumpelman.
Carpool or walk to the start, if possible.
Restrooms:
Two will be available on site.

8:20 gather at the Starting Line, runners in first corral, walkers in second corral.
8:30 Let’s go!
Two water stations are provided on the course at Mile 1 and before Mile 2. All participants will pass each water station twice.
Water Station 1 is sponsored by the Fort Mitchell Public House, and Water Station 2 is sponsored by SpeedyWash Coin Laundry.
Course includes one lane of Dixie Highway from West Maple Avenue to Ft. Mitchell Avenue during two legs of the race. Please use caution as southbound traffic will still be using the inside lane.
First Aid will be located on the driveway. Cincinnati Firefighter and ventriloquist Denny Baker will be on hand to entertain and help with ice packs.
Lindsey's Shaved Ice will be offering Snow Cones for participants.
Awards and post-race snacks will be in the back parking lot at 9:30. If weather becomes an issue, awards will be in The Dunham Theater inside the museum.
