Thanks, Al!

Today's thanks goes to Al M., who adopted this Verna Finly puppet named, "Captain Magnum." Dale Brown donated this great puppet in 2013, along with several others. Dale performed with this character for more than 20 years as Kohler Engines' corporate communication's mascot. Thanks, Al, for your support!

Thanks, Vinnie E.!

Made in just three days (November 15-17, 1996) by Jeff Dunham, Walter is certainly one of the most recognized dummies here. Jeff Dunham made this Walter for use in a Hertz Rent A Car commercial, but he continued performing with it for 6 1/2 years. Thank you, Vinnie E., for adopting Walter! Your support (and service!) are greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Mark H.

One of the tourist favorites, Cecil Wigglenose, was adopted by long time Vent Haven fan, Mark H., of Colorado. Cecil arrived at Vent Haven in 1948. Tourists are amazed by Cecil; he has 10 movements, including eyes that cross and a tongue that sticks out! As an added bonus today, I've thrown in a great photo of Mark from a few years back. Thanks for your support, Mark!

Thanks, Ian!

For our first of more than 200 thank you's...Thanks to Ian M., a first time attendee at this year's convention. Ian adopted Tommy Timber, used by Gordon Kibby. Mr. Berger, our founder, purchased the dummy for $50. His friendship with Kibby was decades long and they had nicknames for each other (Gordo & Bardo). If you're interested in adopting a dummy, email me at curator@venthaven.org.
